Young people born between 1995 and 2012 are now aged between 11 and 28 and are defined as the iGeneration. These are the children born at the same time as the internet (1995) and who grew up influenced by the arrival of Facebook, the first social platform born in 2006. These young people have experienced another great change brought by technological progress, namely the mobile phone, arrived in 2011 and which since then has been with young people through their development and their adolescence.
This great change has profoundly influenced young people in their way of relating, playing, creating, and using their imagination and creativity. If on the one hand the internet has connected people, on the other hand it has divided and distanced them, bringing enormous repercussions on the way young people perceive the world.
The goal of Life Coaching is to support young people in creating their own lives
Young people spend most of their time online, using chats, social networks, attending online courses and playing video games. The first signs that something is now changing are given by the tendency to postpone adolescence and to delay taking responsibility for one’s future.
Life & Mental Coaching for adolescents and young adults is a valid tool to support young people in their growth experience. It must be kept in mind that the brain is formed and transformed based on life experiences that cannot be replaced by a smartphone.

The Life & Mental Coaching programme for teenagers and young adults developed by Quantasia, based in Lugano, Ticino, offers young people the opportunity to embark on a personal growth and development journey through coaching.
The programme lasts at least four months and supports young people through a transformative experience designed to foster greater maturity, self-awareness and personal responsibility. Through Neuro-Emotional Education techniques, young people learn to better understand and manage their emotions, develop more thoughtful ways of approaching situations, communicate with greater empathy, effectiveness and consideration, and become more aware of their behaviours, choices and actions.
In particular, Life & Mental Coaching for young people can also provide valuable support for parents who find it difficult to communicate certain concepts or help their children recognise and develop their personal strengths and abilities. Coaching can be especially valuable for families where communication between parents and children has become difficult or strained, helping young people develop greater awareness and more constructive ways of relating to others.
