Claudia Vece - Your Neuro Emotional Trainer

When an Emotional Intelligence and Communication pathway is needed in sport

In high-performance sport, the quality of communication is not secondary. It is a performance lever.

Coaches, trainers, technical staff, and sports leaders operate in constant relationship:

  • with athletes,
  • with staff,
  • with management,
  • with external pressure.

And in these contexts, what makes the difference is not only what is said, but the internal state from which it is communicated. Because every message passes through the nervous system.
If the state is reactive, under pressure, or misaligned, even the most accurate message loses effectiveness. This is when:
misunderstandings, tension, resistance, conflict, and loss of trust emerge.

Emotional intelligence in sport is not a theoretical skill.

It is the concrete ability to:

  • read the context,
  • manage your internal state,
  • communicate clearly, coherently, and effectively.

Mental Coaching and Neuro-Emotional Coaching applied to communication work at this level: not only what to say, but how to be while communicating.

Signals that indicate the need for change

  • Communication with athletes does not produce the intended effect
  • Feedback triggers resistance or emotional shutdown
  • Tension or conflict emerges within the staff
  • Under pressure, you react instead of responding with clarity
  • You struggle to find the right balance between authority and empathy
  • Your message doesn’t land the way you want it to
  • Relationships begin to negatively affect performance
  • You often feel misunderstood or not truly heard
  • You find it difficult to handle emotionally intense situations
  • You want to improve your relational and communicative impact

When communication is not aligned, the performance of the system is affected.

My approach: communication as an expression of internal state

A neuro-emotional method applied to relational dynamics

My approach integrates:

  • neuro-emotional coaching,
  • neuroscience of communication,
  • applied emotional intelligence,
  • nervous system regulation,
  • relational leadership.

We don’t work only on communication techniques. We work on the system that communicates.

We intervene on:

  • Nervous system
To prevent reactivity, shutdown, or aggressiveness.
  • Emotional setup
To stabilise your state within relationships.
  • Mental structure
To build clear, intentional, strategic messages.
  • Relationship
To create connection, trust, and collaboration.

When the system is regulated, communication becomes natural, effective, and impactful.

How the pathway works

Structure and operational modalities

Duration: variable, with ongoing or intensive formats
Mode: one-to-one sessions or small staff-group sessions
Frequency: tailored to the sporting context
Method: experiential, practical, applied

The work includes:

  • analysis of communication dynamics,
  • emotional-regulation training,
  • real-scenario simulations,
  • work on feedback, conflict and relationships,
  • integration into day-to-day operations.

Each pathway is tailored.

The final result

Communication that generates performance

By the end of the pathway, communication will no longer be a critical point. It becomes a lever.
You won’t simply communicate better—you will have greater impact.

You will have integrated, concretely:

  • clear, directional communication
  • emotional stability in relationships
  • greater ability to influence
  • reduced tension
  • authoritative, coherent presence
  • ability to manage difficult situations
  • more functional, productive relationships
  • alignment between internal state and communication

This is the difference between speaking and creating change.

Transformation doesn’t happen on its own

My role is to guide you with competence and presence—your availability, commitment, and desire to evolve are the essential ingredients.

The quality of the relationship determines the quality of performance

If you want to improve the quality of your communication and your relational impact in sport, it is time to work on it in a structured way.
